Well hello there. It's been a particularly intense week this week as far as my workouts go. I started out on Monday with 3 hours in the gym doing a full body routine and finished today with a 2 hour workout. Normally I'm only actually working out for 45 minutes or so... Anyway, I didn't really increase any weights this week except for my barbell chest press (90 pounds) and my bent over row (45 pounds), both of which I increased today. But I started working on a lot of other exercises this week, including a lot of legs! My leg press is at 270 pounds right now, but I'm confident I can do more. My calf extension is actually also at 270 pounds, and I don't think it's particularly normal to have your calf extensions equal to your leg presses... I also was shown the leg buck this morning. That may very well be my new favorite exercise! I started off the day with 20 bucks with both legs. Then I moved into some super sets with tricep presses and leg bucks at a set of 10 with both legs, then 10 with the left, then 10 with the right. On my last set today I bumped that number to 12. I'm pretty sure I'll be feeling those tomorrow...
Anyway, here's the new pic, February 15th:
Holy cheeseballs I look better than I used to, don't I? :D
See you in a week or two!

The beginning: November 2012 to February 7th, 2013
So this is just my own personal photo blog to record my physical progress. I started doing push-ups every morning in November of 2012 and began lifting weights and circuit training in January of 2013. I'm not sure what sorts of info I will be including here, but at the very least I will try to post a photo of myself and my progress every two weeks or so.
Here was me in November of 2012:
Still pretty much nothin'. Oh well, here's where the workouts begin!
I've started lifting dumbbells with a focus on chest presses, bicep curls, and tricep presses. I started at 15/15/30 pounds respectively. January 7th:

Not bad but no real muscle to show. And here after a month and a half or so of pushups, January 1st:

Yeah, nothing is happening. But it's only been a week!
I've made a little improvement after these two weeks on my weight, but not much. I'm at 20 lb chest presses, 15 lb bicep curls, and 45 lb tricep presses. I started tossing in a few bent-over rows, as well. I began at 15 lbs but quickly worked up to 25 lbs. Here's January 16th:
Okay, I apparently forgot how to shave, but ... hey! Are those pecs I see? Where'd those little guys come from?
Well, let's see how much more we can get. I've made some definite strides here. My chest presses are up to 30 lbs, bicep curls have hung around 15 lbs, and tricep presses are at 70 lbs. My rows are still at 25 lbs. I think I was scared to increase those and I'm not sure why. I've also begun barbell chest pressing! I began at 45 lbs but quickly managed a couple reps at 75 lbs. Here's January 28th:
Huh. I seem to have lost my ab definition. My growing appetite must be having some effect. But my arms look a little bigger! Or is that just me?
Well here's me today. My chest presses are up to 40 lbs. Bicep curls are still at 20 lbs, and it's the left arm that is holding me back there. My tricep presses are up to 75 lbs, but I've begun focusing more on rows. I've moved up to 40 lb rows and finally understand the burn in the exercise. My barbell chest press hasn't had much focus lately, but I've moved up to 85 lbs with at least 8 reps. Also! I've started circuit training. It's been kicking my ass so far, but the sweating is fantastic and I'm managing to push myself hard enough to do every exercise with the most advanced (read: difficult) modifications shown. February 7th:
Holy guacamole look at that arm. Maybe I've just learned how to take photos with more flattering angles, though, eh? Also, the circuit training seems to have had an effect on my stomach. Well, let's give this another week or two and see what else changes.
